Our Story
Ongeri Expeditions was not born in a boardroom. It was born on dusty roads, early mornings, long game drives, and quiet moments when Africa speaks – if you know how to listen.
THE BELIEF
Before the itineraries, before the logos, before the awards, there was a simple belief:
Africa deserves to be experienced with intention, respect, and depth.
OUR ROOTS
We grew up knowing this land not as a destination, but as home. We learned its rhythms, the patience of the savannah, the power of silence, and the stories carried by the wind at sunset.
Over time, it became clear that true luxury in Africa isn’t about excess. It’s about access. Access to the right places, the right people, the right moments, done properly.
OUR APPROACH
Ongeri Expeditions was created to do things the old-fashioned way: Personal relationships, deep destination knowledge, and journeys designed with care, not shortcuts.
Every safari we design is personal. No templates. No rushed checklists. We listen first to who you are, how you travel, and what you want to feel when you leave Africa. Then we craft a journey that reflects that, drawing on years of experience, trusted partners, and a genuine love for this continent.
