Overview
Uganda is Africa at its most intimate, lush, layered, and deeply moving. A land of mist-covered forests, volcanic mountains, and rare wildlife encounters that feel profoundly personal.
Here, the experience goes beyond traditional safari. It is quieter, more immersive, and often transformative, defined by moments of connection, from standing just metres away from a mountain gorilla family to walking through ancient rainforest alive with sound.
This is a journey that stays with you.
Best Time to Visit
Uganda offers exceptional travel experiences throughout the year, with its equatorial climate supporting lush landscapes and consistent wildlife viewing.
June to September & December to February – Drier conditions, ideal for gorilla and chimpanzee trekking. Gorilla trekking permits are limited and highly sought after, and should be secured well in advance, typically 6 to 12 months prior to travel.
